What you need to know about CNC Routing and Custom Woodworking Service
Can I send my existing CAD Files?
Files that are well composed for CNC will be quicker to process and therefore cost less.
We prefer vector files for CNC routing. Examples include DXF and DWG. Although we can work with EPS, AI, PDF and many other vector file formats. We are also able to use quality 3D files in formats like STL.
How do I send you my files?
After you have entered into a contract with Do It Wise, we will communicate by email and provide a secure way to send your files. Because we know files don't always transfer properly, we will follow up to confirm the transfer.
How do I select the best material for the job?
Our CNC router will cut acrylic, foam, plywood, solid wood and even thin aluminum.
The Do It Wise team will discuss the purpose and application of your project to select the best material. Because Do It Wise has a wide range of vendors and suppliers we can get what you need.
How does your pricing work?
We are usually able to provide you a quote within one business day, but this can be extended for large and complex projects.
Custom jobs beyond CNC routing products are also quoted based on their complexity, materials and time.
For CNC Routing jobs, the cost will be based on the CAD and toolpath time, material usage and cutting time required.
There are many variables that will increase cutting time and therefore cost: longer cutting paths, greater material hardness, increased material depth and a high level of component complexity. Discounts will be applied for larger batches of components where the CAD, toolpath and setup time is distributed over a greater number of units.
If you wish to provide us your stock, we can also price your project to cut only.
What you need to know about shipping
Do you ship oversees and to P.O. boxes?
We’ll ship your package anywhere that can accept deliveries. Contact us for shipping information specific to your location. While we are unable to control the cost of shipping, Do It Wise will work with several vendors to find the best solution.
What vendors do you use for shipping?
Do It Wise frequently uses FedEx, UPS and USPS. For larger items, we rely on LTL vendors.

Custom work is not returnable. We will work to make sure you are satisfied with your item. Should you notice any issues, please notify us within 30 days. Our customer service will work with you to resolve the issue.
If you purchased an item through InQueue Home Decor, we will except returns of defective and damaged items if contacted within 10 days of receiving your item.
